We offer flexible services that range from 24-hour live-in care to short term help following an illness or surgery. We can even help if your regular carer needs a break by offering relief care. At Good Partners we are available to support you and your loved ones 24 hours 7 days a week all year round, and we work to always review and meet your changing needs as they arise. We are able to provide ACC Funded support service for both short- and long-term injuries.

Dementia Care

People living with dementia have unique and special needs which means that the care and support services we provide needs to be individually tailored. At Good Partners Homecare & Nursing we specialise in providing a broad range of support and services for all patients with dementia, this allows us our patients to remain comfortable in their own homes for as long as possible.

Specialist Dementia Services we provide:

• Our highly trained care staff is qualified in dementia care and are required to undertake mandatory refresher training courses each year. This allows us to offer the latest in-home dementia care practices
• Each patient is assigned a Care Supervisor who personally monitor each individual care package and communicates with you and your loved ones regularly to provide you with personalised care catering to your specific needs.
• Our Care Staff are specially trained in encouraging and motivating clients who might be resistant to help or care. We allow our patients to maintain their dignity while promoting person-centred care and independence. Our dementia team can help and support with communication strategies, behavioural management, medication management, personal care, and nutrition.

Nursing Care

Our Nurses are caring and highly skilled and caring with their primary focus being to provide you and your loved ones with holistic care. We aim to build a support system around you that focuses on your individual needs and will help you to realise and achieve your full potential and goals. Our team of nurses will work closely with you and your family as well as your GP, ACC Case manager and any other relevant healthcare professionals to develop a care plan that suits you and your needs best. Our team will keep you informed and up to date with your care and provide education and support to help you promote independence and safety.

Transportation – Golden Ride

At Good Partners Homecare & Nursing we offer a ‘Golden Ride Transportation' service to help you or loved ones get where they need to be in a punctual manner. We know how hard it can be to manage when you no longer have access to driving yourself around, but we aim to provide you with that sense of independence once again.
